I am not a midwife, but I just wanted to say that midwives may be more needed than ever. I am glad that some of you are thinking ahead. I wish more would.

I have been wondering for almost a year now ... why don't gynecologists set up a delivery room in their office building? That would keep pregnant women out of contaminated hospitals.
Or reserve a small hospital just for deliveries? A lot of specialized equipment and training is needed for complicated cases.
