Age 37, died peacefully from complications of the flu on November 14,2009 surrounded by his family and loved ones. He is survived by his parents, Jeri Sawall and Gene Laskowski of Ann Arbor and Rodney and Vicky Sawall of St. Simons Island, Georgia; sister, Laura Sawall of Portland, Maine; and his much- loved Australian shepherd, Angel, and 15-year-old cat, Baby. Ryan's kind, gentle, and generous spirit and his wicked sense of humor will be sorely missed. He was a great animal lover, and donations may be made is his name to Huron Valley Humane Society
