Influenza vaccination among healthcare personnel has declined nationwide since the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020. We surveyed acute care hospitals within Los Angeles County to examine worker attitudes regarding influenza vaccination and the impact of COVID-19. Comparing before and during the pandemic, we found increased safety and efficacy concerns, and decreased perception of disease severity and risk of influenza, suggesting that redundancy of established COVID-19 measures and pandemic fatigue may have contributed to vaccine refusal.
