MIDDLEBOURNE -- A swine flu outbreak is so severe that officials have decided to close all Tyler County schools Monday, Nov. 9 and Tuesday, Nov. 10. Due to Veteran's day, school will not be in session on Wednesday, Nov. 11 either. A letter was sent home notifying parents Friday. It said the flu has spread rapidly through the schools, over the past week. Large gatherings are being discouraged for five days for children who are sick or well.
