Forty-five (45) new confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) and twenty-20 new deaths have been recorded in the past 24 hours in Algeria, Algerian health authorities announced today.

According to the same source, the deaths recorded today are distributed, according to the last assessment, on 09 wilayas, while the total number of deaths touches 33 wilayas.

Among those affected, 113 are cured, including 20 patients who have left Blida hospital and 18 in Algiers today, while 626 are still on Chloroquine.

Fourar also wanted to point out that the toll-free number (3030) remains available to citizens to respond to their concerns, reiterating the need to respect the recommendations of specialists with regard to personal and environmental hygiene rules, as well sanitary confinement conditions in order to avoid any contagion to the coronavirus.
