Another Alaskan has died from COVID-19, according to the Department of Health & Social Services’ latest numbers updated on Sunday. That brings the state’s total death count to six.

Alaska’s largest one-day increase in COVID-19 cases brings count to 213

Alaska health officials on Tuesday reported 22 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19, the largest single-day increase since the tally began last month.

The new numbers bring the state total to 213 confirmed positive cases of the infectious disease caused by the novel coronavirus that’s causing a global pandemic.
