Redstone Arsenal childcare worker treated for meningitis

A childcare worker at Redstone Arsenal is being treated for meningitis, the Huntsville Army base announced late Friday afternoon.
The worker is being treated for bacterial meningitis caused by streptococcus pneumoniae, a common seasonal bacteria associated with some upper respiratory infections, according to the announcement.
