AGFC confirms cases of chronic wasting disease in Northern Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC) recently confirmed cases of chronic wasting disease (CWD) in deer in Northern Arkansas.

In Cleburne County, two deer tested positive for CWD in addition to another deer in Baxter County. Samples were also found in Conway and Stone counties and were confirmed CWD-positive earlier in the season.

Both of the deer harvested in Cleburne County were within a quarter-mile of each other. ...
