Influenza-like illness (ILI) activity is currently low within the MHS and most overseas DoD laboratory surveillance networks
Compared to the previous three years, clinic visits for ILI remained low across all geographic regions and all Service
There were no influenza positive specimens collected and tested in Week 40. The most recent positive influenza result was collected in Week 39 at Naval Hospital - Guam (2009 H1N1)
Two sentinel sites (USCG Clinic Ketchikan & Incirlik AB) have experienced ILI activity above the surveillance threshold level (greater than two standard deviations above the eight-year average) in Week 39
