40 School Girls Suddenly Fainted In Daikundi

Monday, June 27, 2011 Kabul (BIA) 40 school girls have suddenly fainted in a middle school in Kiti district of Daikundi province.
40 school girls have suddenly fainted in a middle school in Kiti district of Daikundi province. According to Mohammad Ali Wasiq, provincial head of education, the girls got fainted due to an identified disease at the school and after first aid, they recovered. He added the health officials in a clinic in Kiti district are not able to diagnose the treatment of the disease. He asked the officials for public health ministry to take step in this regard. According to Wasiq, a month ago similar disease appeared in schools in Khidhir district in Nili city, but no step has been taken to diagnose the disease. The girls who suffered the disease got temporary fainted and after a few minutes, they got their normal condition. In the past, two or three girls got fainted at the school, but it is the first time that nearly 40 girls suddenly felt numbness.
