“I want [people] to carry their EpiPen if they have it at home and also inform the person that is administering that injection to them that they have a severe allergic reaction,” Sadrzadeh told the Boston Globe. “I knew the symptoms. I had the experience. I was a physician, and I was scared to death. Imagine someone who does not have the information.”

Sadrzadeh has a serious shellfish allergy, according to CNN. He told the network he was concerned about receiving the vaccine, especially after he heard of the rare adverse reaction’s to Pfizer’s shot...

Department of Health reports two suspected cases of severe allergic reaction to COVID-19 vaccine

Dec 31, 2020
Staff Report
BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Dakota Department of Health has reported two suspected severe allergic reactions after individuals received the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.

The two individuals from North Dakota had no history of anaphylactic reactions and the two incidences were unrelated. The symptoms were discovered during the 15-minute post-vaccination observation period recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Both individuals have recovered, and neither was hospitalized. Both have been advised not to receive second doses of COVID-19 vaccine...

I think PEG might be used in some contrast dyes. It doesn't seem like people are being screened for risks so end up having to sort through this alone on their computers. The video goes into the lack of options for the vaccine-injured in this pandemic. They can't even go to the government's vaccine court which itself has strict limitations on cause and effect and awards for damages. At least you can have an attorney and use expert witnesses in that case. With the pandemic coronavirus vaccines you just fill out paperwork and send it off hoping 'someone' decides in your favor.

HARRISONVILLE, Mo. — We are learning of the first metro healthcare worker to suffer a severe allergic reaction to the COVID-19 vaccine.
The Cass County healthcare worker got the Moderna shot in late December, blacked out and ended up on a ventilator. What happened to her is a cautionary tale, with important information everyone should know.

Health experts urge confidence in vaccine after superstar’s death

Coronavirus | 6 hours ago

By Brad Schrade - The Atlanta Journal-ConstitutionEric Stirgus - The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

When Hank Aaron and other African American leaders invited reporters to watch them receive COVID-19 immunization shots on Jan. 5, the baseball legend said he did so to help spread the word to millions that the vaccine is safe.

“It felt good,” Aaron said afterward at the Morehouse School of Medicine, where the event was held.

Now, just over two weeks later, public health experts and some of the Black leaders with Aaron that day worry that an event that drew so much publicity could inadvertently serve to undermine confidence in the vaccine. Within minutes of news breaking Friday morning of the baseball great’s death, those with doubts about the vaccine turned to social media to try to draw a connection to Aaron’s recent immunization.

That worries Joe Beasley, one of the activists who received the Moderna vaccine shot alongside Aaron. “I hope this won’t have a chilling effect on our people,” said Beasley, 84. “We can’t afford it because too many people are dying (from COVID-19).”
A cause of death was not announced, but the Braves said Aaron died peacefully in his sleep....

I hope she gets a second opinion about whether or not to get the second vaccine shot. Only the dermatologist who gave her the filler injection is quoted in the article. With the hip pain, a rheumatologist might be helpful.

Rare COVID-19 vaccine side effect linked to cosmetic dermal filler

Dr. Grieshaber said the inflammation is, “Rare and treatable. Steroids and antihistamines are what have been used.”

So was Lauren one of the rare cases of this inflammation because she also had the coronavirus recently?

“And so I'm wondering if she had those antibodies and then got that brisk immune reaction when she got her vaccine on Monday,” asked Dr. Grieshaber.

Lauren is not concerned about the inflammation in her face and even hip joints that she got after the vaccine because she understands it's basically the immune system mounting a defense...

What’s the New Phenomenon Called “COVID Vaccine Arm”?
The eighth day delayed reaction to the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
Chris Gilbert, M.D., Ph.D.
Posted Jan 28, 2021

Reactions to the COVID-19 mRNA vaccine usually last three or four days after the first shot, but a new side effect is beginning to appear in some patients, including me, on day eight after the first shot. It's been called “COVID vaccine arm.”

Two weeks ago, in Los Angeles, I had my first Moderna COVID-19 vaccine shot in my right upper arm. I had pain and a little redness in that arm for the expected 48 hours after the shot, but those symptoms disappeared quickly.

I thought I was done with the side effects when, on day seven after the vaccine shot, as I was going to bed, I started itching at the injection site. I didn’t think much of it and fell asleep...

Utah Medical Examiner says 39-year-old mom?s death 4 days after taking COVID vaccine is ?temporally related?
Kassidi Kurill received her second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine on Monday, Feb. 1

By Bradford Betz | Fox News

The family of a 39-year-old Utah mother who died just four days after taking her second dose of the COVID vaccine believes her death may be directly connected to the vaccine. But medical experts are cautioning the public not to jump to conclusions until all the facts are collected.

Kassidi Kurill received her second dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine on Monday, Feb. 1. Over the next few days, she became sick, and her condition worsened. By Friday, Kurill was dead.

Kurill's father, Alfred Hawley, told Fox News Wednesday his daughter "was seemingly healthy as a horse," and had "no known underlying conditions." ...

I just returned home from my first Moderna shot. As I said in another thread I was forced to move up my vaccine decision because a family member has to report for jury duty soon. I would have preferred to wait until June. Anyway, I received the shot at Publix and they were streamlined for this process. They already had my insurance records from previous prescriptions. The shot was nothing. I will post here if I have any reaction. I do not have any cosmetic fillers, but like most people I have some allergies and co-morbidities. I have had sore injection area reaction a few times in my life. I forget which shot.

The pharmacist complemented me on my goggles. :)

I did get soreness at the injection site. It was gone in two days. Nothing else has happened so far. Same with a family member. That person did not wear goggles to their appointment. :)

This is my experience. No medicine, procedure, therapy, vaccine, etc. is 100% risk free.

If you have any questions about vaccines, please consult your medical practitioner.
