About 7,000 people were immunized against influenza
The figure is only in the Central department during the vaccination campaign this weekend. Public Health's goal is to vaccinate 1.2 million people in 45 days. Yet to arrive in the country trivalent vaccine.
A total of 6917 people were immunized against influenza A H1N1, the Central Department, according to a report of the Eleventh Health Region Public Health Ministry (MSP).

Also were given 53 doses of BCG (against tuberculosis), 502 Sabin (polio) and 251 doses of pentavalent vaccine (diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B, meningitis).
Also applied 107 doses of vaccine against rotavirus, 264, MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), 242 doses of DPT (diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis), 1528 of (tuberculosis and diphtheria) and 202 yellow fever (yellow fever) .
VACCINES NOT ARRIVE. Paraguay is one of the 10 countries of the region that was received with vaccines against H1N1 influenza A four laboratories donated by farmers and governments in 13 countries through the World Health Organization (WHO).
These immunological 600,000 doses, arrived on May 2, as only last week failed to start the distribution and application.
However, Paraguay is still awaiting another 600,000 doses of trivalent vaccine (in addition to containing the pandemic strain, immunized against two strains of seasonal influenza), which acquired through the Revolving Fund of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO).
