Is it possible, plausible, or impossible.. can a vector borne virus mutate with an influenza virus?

I ask this question because of my concern that vectors that are associated with avian diseases have been known to cause human illness in some cases.

I wonder if H5N1 could be picked up by a mosquito biting an avian host, or a swine, feline, or human host etc... and passed along to another receiving host causing an uncommon spread?

BF and chik are both RNA viruses.
Chick is an Alpha virus.
There are many alphaviruses distributed around the world with the ability to cause human disease. Infectious arthritis, encephalitis, rashes and fever being the most commonly observed. Larger mammals such as humans and horses are usually dead-end hosts or play a minor role in viral transmission, however in the case of Venezuelan equine encephalitis the virus is mainly amplified in horses. In most other cases the virus is maintained in nature in mosquitoes, rodents and birds.
