A(H1N1) clearance needed for Haj pilgrims

CHENNAI: Haj pilgrims will be allowed to undertake their pilgrimage only after getting a medical certificate stating that they do not have symptoms of A(H1N1) Flu. According to an official press release, a medical test is being conducted at the Haj Centre at Choolaimedu and the pilgrims have to undergo the test being conducted by government/Corporation doctors. Only after getting medical clearance certificate from the doctors, the pilgrims would be allowed to undertake the journey. Those who do not have the medical clearance certificate will not be allowed to undertake the pilgrimage, the release added.
