Swine flu cases continue to rise

The number of casualties of the H1N1 virus aka swine flu shows no sign of abating in Switzerland. The Federal Office of Public Health says that 1,046 cases have been logged in Switzerland and Lichtenstein so far. Since the beginning of July, 19 people have had to receive hospital treatment. Most of those infected have picked up the virus on holidays abroad, from family members, at sporting events and on organised trips.
