NASSAU COUNTY, FL -- The Health Department says they are investigating a cluster of influenza-like illnesses in a group of employees at a local business.

Eight out of ten employees at a local Bank of America office called out sick Tuesday, so the bank had to close its doors for the day until workers from other branches could come out to work Wednesday.

They say they have noticed some flu activity, which is most likely due to swine flu in the community. So they are currently trying to contact those eight employees so they can test them for swine flu.

The department isn't sure if it is swine flu or another strand of the virus.

Nassau County has tested three people positive in the last several months.

How to keep yourself safe from swine flu:

People with flu-like symptoms are encouraged to stay home from work, school and other gatherings to avoid spreading the illness.
Avoid close contact with people who are coughing or otherwise appear ill.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
Wash your hands frequently.
If you have a cough, fever, and fatigue, with possible diarrhea and vomiting, contact your health care provider.
