WATERBURY, Conn. - Hospital officials in Waterbury say a chronically ill patient has become the seventh person to die of swine flu in Connecticut.

Health officials say the patient, between the ages of 80 and 89, died Tuesday at Saint Mary's Hospital.

Five of the state's swine flu deaths have been in Waterbury.

Health officials say there have been underlying medical conditions in all Connecticut swine flu deaths.
