Less than two weeks before school opens, an outbreak of H1N1 flu at Cove United Methodist Church has focused new attention on an illness that disrupted schools here last spring.
Six members of the Hampton Cove church, including youth pastor Darin Miller, are believed to have the flu formerly called swine flu, executive pastor Matt Jones said Wednesday. More cases may follow as symptoms spread.
The six were among 81 teenagers and adults who attended BigStuf, a weeklong youth camp last week in Panama City Beach, Fla.
BigStuf is held in a large beach hotel, Jones said. Each week, it hosts teens from around the nation, and 1,500 were there last week...
