MEXICO CITY, April 12. - The National Seismological Service (SSN) reported that during this early bird were two earthquakes of 6.0 and 6.8 degrees on the Richter scale, which originated the northeast of Black Guerrero, Baja California Sur.

The body of the Institute of Geophysics of the UNAM explained that the first 6.0 quake was at 02:05 hours on Wednesday, while the second and greater magnitude occurred 10 minutes later.

He said the epicenter of both quakes was recorded at 111 and 109 kilometers northeast of Black Warrior, with 28.78 degrees latitude and longitude -113.43.

Later, through his Twitter account, the SSN reported a 4.4 magnitude aftershock, 109 kilometers northeast of the entity.

Recorded six replicates

As of 5:26 pm, the National Seismological Service reported that they have reported six aftershocks of 6.8 that was felt this morning with the epicenter in Black Guerrero, Baja California Sur.

The Institute of Geophysics of the UNAM said that the magnitudes of these aftershocks ranging from 3.7 to 4.8 degrees on the Richter scale.

On his Twitter account, SSN explained that by its magnitude, the earthquakes in Black Guerrero, Michoacan and Ometepec, the latter on 20 March, each generate their own responses in their respective regions.

Note that a 6.8 tremor occurred at 02:15 hours on Thursday, meanwhile, data from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS, for its acronym in English) reported that the earthquake that struck the west coast of Mexico was 7.1.

In addition, points out that the earthquake occurred in the Gulf of California, about 200 kilometers west of the city of Hermosillo, the administrative center of the Mexican state of Sonora, and the epicenter was located about 10 kilometers deep.
