Re: 5 swine flu cases confirmed on cruise ship in Alaska waters

(sorry)
If the folks there could provide real documented lab evidence that all the few thousends passengers and crew members passed the extended lab testings as novel flu - free, I should retract my statement.
But generaly, instead of a single link, I suggest the vast numbers of links explaining an respiratory flu infections spreadings in close objects (the FT site must have plenty of it).
If there were cases of novel flu, for which we additionaly knows they have a 1-2 days of prior symptoms infectious period, and the existance of totaly asymptomatic infected people (freshly few Egipt located cases are an example), there is no need for additional proves, because the previous sci. facts connected with the ways flu is spreading, sugest that there COULD be additional cases on the ship.
Only an general throughout lab testing could reveal the real state of the matter, and such tests are not conducted on all people usualy, as we learn by the FT placed news texts about.
