One more death caused by the Influenza To (H1N1), also known like pig flu, was registered in Mato Grosso. The death, of a 34-year-old man, happened in the local authority of Paranatinga (373 km to the south of Cuiab?) and it was confirmed in the afternoon of this Tuesday (18). The man died in the day 30 of June and from the date the case was being investigated by the State General office of Health (SES/MT). With more this register, the State already writes up 3 deaths and 34 notifications of the disease, being 18 persons confirmed with H1N1 and other 16 still under investigation. The first death in the State belonged to a baby of 6 months, that it had travelled with the family for Canc?n (Mexico). While arriving in Cuiab?, the child presented symptoms of a strong flu and was interned in a particular hospital, but it did not resist the disease and died. The 2nd register belonged to a resident of the city of Green Field (131 km to the south of the Capital), that it received treatment in the Regional Hospital of Rondon?polis. Another 2 deaths in Rondon?polis are still under investigation and the results must already be presented in the near week...

The notification is of 34 cases of flu A (H1N1), of which, 18 cases were confirmed and 16 cases are under investigation. Up to the moment there were confirmed 03 deaths (Cuiab?, Green Field and Paranatinga). The local authorities that presented confirmation of the cases were: Cuiab? (6), New Field of the Parecis (6), Green Field (1), Rondon?polis (2), Big Meadow (1), Black Stone (1), Paranatinga (1). The local authorities that have cases under investigation are: Rondon?polis Cuiab?, Raft, New Field of the Parecis. The Manager of the Vigilance Epidemiol?gica of the State, Val?ria Cristina of the Bramble, said that the incidents are inside the expected one and it discards outbreak or epidemic of the disease in the State.

The state already registered, up to this Tuesday (07), 67 notifications of flu A/H1N1 in the period of eight months. In accordance with the General office of Level of health (SES/MT), 21 cases were confirmed, 18 cases are still under investigation and 28 were discarded.
Up to the moment, four deaths were notified, being three confirmed ones (Cuiab?, Green Field and Paranatinga) and one in investigation (Bridges and Lacerda) .Segundo the general office, Cuiab?, New Field of the Parecis, Green Field, Rondon?polis, Big Meadow, Black Stone and Paranatinga presented confirmation of the disease.
