40 000 cases of ARI reported from October 1, 2011 in Kazakhstan, said chief medical officer of the republic Zhandarbek Bekshin.

According to him, higher than the national index recorded incidence in Kostanai, West-Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, East Kazakhstan oblasts,
Almaty and Astana.
"According to the forecast of the World Health Organization this year epidemiological season expected circulation of seasonal influenza A (H3N2)? and A (H1N1).
Along with the influenza A virus will circulate and influenza B, influenza and respiratory viruses, "- said Bekshin.
