4 More Mainers Die From H1N1
Death Toll At 17 In Maine From Virus

AUGUSTA, Maine -- State health officials said four more Mainers have died from the H1N1 virus.

That brings the total of deaths from the virus to 17 in Maine.

The latest deaths were in Androscoggin, Kennebec, Knox and Oxford Counties.

The victims had underlying health conditions.

The Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention said the H1N1 outbreak continues to ease in Maine, with only 11 hospitalizations in the past week. That is down from 50 a month ago.
