Third person in Hawaii with swine flu dies
A third person has died in Hawai'i who tested positive for the H1N1 virus, or swine flu, a state health spokeswoman said today.
Spokeswoman Janice Okubo said the person had other medical conditions, so it's unclear what role the swine flu played in the person's death.
Other details on the person who died were not available.
There have been more than 1,000 cases of swine flu in the Islands so far.
Most have been mild.
Nationwide, more than 40,000 cases of swine flu have been confirmed.
