Swine flu turned more deadly on Thursday as four more persons died of deadly virus in Karnataka, taking the death toll in the state to 35. Informing the media persons, the health officials said that all of the four died in the state capital, Bangalore.
A 38-year-old woman named Kamala, admitted to Victoria Hospital on August 31 died on Tuesday. According to doctors, there was a delay in seeking medical intervention leading to Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS).
The other three include a 27-year-old, 31-year-old and a 41-year-old who surrender to the virus in different private hospitals.
Apart from this, 19 more people have tested positive for swine flu virus, taking the number of confirmed cases in the state to 536.
