وقامت إدارة مكافحة الحشرات بمديرية الصحة برش المسجد والمنازل المحيطة به، وعثرت اللجنة علي بعض الحشرات النافقة ومنها ?حشرة القراد? وتبين أن الحشرة قتلت بعض الكلاب الضالة وشنت إدارة الطب البيطري حملة علي الكلاب بالمنطقة المصابة، أسفرت عن اعدام 3 آلاف كلف ضال منها 1921 كلبًا خلال شهر يوليو والباقي خلال شهر أغسطس الحالي.
