No case was found with any complication. Majority of cases have been recovered withot any death. All cases were affected with complains of loose motion. Affected patient were treated . Out of seven Cases one patient was admitted at Mangaldai Civil Hospital on 2-3-13 and referred to GMCH on 3-3-2013 for better treatment . We got the information that the patient was expired on 05-03-13, morning at GMCH. Water Sources Tubewell. Seven nos. of water samples are collected for test and waiting for result . I visit the site of occurrence today on 06-03-13 and enquired about diarrhea cases which are already treated . The cases are found to be improved . Containment measures have been taken by In charge of Kharupetia BPHC and treated the patients . No new cases are found today on 6-3-2013. Non Specific Viral Fever With Polyarthralgia Thogamalai,Seplapatti,Kallai,Bommanaickenpatti(west) 16 0 08/03/2013 2013-03-08 14:42:04 352 Totally 13 cases were admitted in Manaparai GH on 07.03.13.In the affected village 3 fever cases were treated symptomatically on 08.03.13 by Medical team. 7 Blood smears were collectd to rule out Malaria.4 Serum samples were collected & sent to K.A.P.V Med.College,Trichy to rule out Chikungunya & Dengue. 1.Fever surveillance&Treatment. 2.Anti larval work & Source reduction. 3.Chlorination& disinfection done. 4.Fogging operation was done in the entire village. 5.Repairing of drinking water pipe lines.
