"* The FT count is actually 169 based on a WHO Alert & Response report dated June 7, 2012 in which the last confirmed H5N1 case in Egypt is numbered 168."

Re: 2012: Retrospective clarification of FT H5N1 linelist for Egypt (case 169)

Thank you Biological for that research. I have checked the WHO site and there was never, and still is not, a GAR report about the 2 year old.

I will update our lists to include this case. :tiphat:

edit to add -

In addition the WHO pdf contains an error for the onset and hospitalization dates. I used the ECTAD data for our list.

Yes Sharon you are correct, There was a variance in the reporting of the onset date and hospitalisation date on the 17 December 2012 report and was later updated on the 20 Dec 2013! I posted the update on flu trackers at that time!

Interesting enough the variance/disparity occurred during the transition from GAR reports to linelist format in the "Influenza at the human-animal interface" !

It appears in this report the the onset and hospitalisation date were reversed from the original 17 Dec 2012 interface report.
