Children were affected with the complain of Weakness, Nausea, giddiness NIL RRT from Mukalmua PHC rushed to the area along with paramedical staff and arrange a temporary health-Check-up camp and examined all affected children and gave them necessary treatment. Most of them improved within ? an hour except 08 nos. of case, which were referred to Mukalmua PHC and they are also improved within one hour. Investigation Open Situation is under controlled. No new cases reported.CM & HO (CD), DMO, Nalbari and Assistant Director of Malaria, Assam visited the affected area on 28022012.

As per instructions from NIV pune we are collecting serum sampels & Throat swabs for virus isolation result will be communicated later RRT team has visited & investigated the affected area , Surveillance was done & Patient were treated at Village .Medical team has been posted at the village.Affected children were isolated & instructed to keep away from other Healthy children, Meeting of School Teachers Aganwadi Workers was taken & they were instructed to inform immediately to the Health WorkersMedical Officers. Suficient amount of medicine kept at village level.Surveillance activity held the village within five km of radius. Health education given regarding sanitation & hygiene. Investigation Open The first case onset on 20/02/2012 had convulsions and high grade fever was shown to PP who refered the case to Sahakari Rugnalay Solapur.He undergone investigations & treated by specialist & the impression was MUMS Encephalitis.
