CUYAHOGA COUNTY -- Nine flu-related deaths have now been recorded in Cuyahoga County this flu season.

Two additional deaths have been reported this week.

The Cuyahoga County Board of Health says this is the third-consecutive week that pneumonia and flu-related deaths were higher than 6%, a threshold of significance for this indicator, according to the CCBH...

Cuyahoga County reports four flu-related deaths in latest weekly report; season total climbs to 13



CLEVELAND - Four people died for reasons related to the flu in the latest weekly report, the Cuyahoga County Public Health Collaborative reports.

This brings the flu death toll for this season to 13.

There have been 529 hospitalizations for flu this season, the report adds.

The report is for the week of Feb. 2 to 8, 2014.
