recently ** had been compared with the 1957 pandemic (Napolitano)
it started in China in Feb.1957 just in time for the NZ-winter season,
similar to 2009.
now I read that
1957 panflu infected 70%-80% of people in NZ in 1957
but mortality was low
And there was one big wave of 3 months in NZ, no further waves
how low ?
can't find the figures about Australia
