14th H1N1 death reported

Kentucky has reported its 14th death related to the H1N1 flu virus.

A woman in her early 30s with underlying health conditions has died in Knox County
, according to the health department there.

The state Department for Public Health said she was the fourth swine-flu victim to reported to have died in the last week. All four victims had underlying health conditions or risk factors, health officials said.

The deaths of the state?s 12th and 13th victims, from Madison and Cumberland counties, were reported by local health departments on Thursday. The H1N1 flu is considered widespread in Kentucky.
