A girl who was pregnant 14 years became the seventh fatality of influenza A-H1N1 in Honduras, health authorities confirmed yesterday.
The minor was served in the intensive care room of the hospital school and is the first pregnant woman died of lethal influenza virus, according to the director of the Hospital del T?rax, Nora Maradiaga.
Of the seven people killed by H1N1, the girl is the third woman to die along with the fruit he was carrying in her womb, according Maradiaga.
The official said it was investigating the deaths of three others for the same reason. The cases have occurred in Comayagua and Olancho Tegucigalpa.
The Head of Epidemiological Surveillance, Marco Pinel, stated that one of the victims was a woman of 40 years, I was pregnant. The death occurred in Olancho.

Two of these new cases are in Tegucigalpa and the other two to the department of Cortes, as Pinel, who gave no further details about the patients.
Health authorities are pending the results of 30 other evidence submitted for analysis in laboratories abroad, referred Pinel.

About 20 cases per day are analyzed, studied the evidence of risk patients such as diabetics, people suffering from obesity or with acute respiratory conditions, children under five years and pregnant women.
