For this reason, and as a way of creating awareness among people about this issue, the Hospital of the University of Chile and Chile Roche developed the campaign as part of the celebration of World Hepatitis Day , through the implementation of a rapid test that verifies the presence of antibody to hepatitis C.
GHOST INFECTION
"The initial infection with hepatitis C usually passes unnoticed, without producing symptoms that lead patients to consult," said the doctor gastroenterology chief Javier Brahm.
