You shouldn't sleep on it...Going to sleep may reinforce or "preserve" negative emotions...
You shouldn't drive...angry drivers take more risks and have more accidents...
You shouldn't vent...not only increased anger at that moment but made aggressive behavior more likely in the future...
You shouldn't eat...angry, we often make unhealthy food choices...
You shouldn't keep arguing...makes it likely you'll say things you'll regret...
You shouldn't post about your conflict on Facebook... can't be taken back...
You shouldn't write emails...jot down your feelings in a Word document
You shouldn't drink alcohol...it removes impulse control...
You shouldn't ignore your blood pressure...risk of a heart attack and stroke increases in the two hours following angry outbursts...
You shouldn't ruminate...does not resolve anything...
