I also want to state again - PLEASE ONLY TAKE A SMALL SNIP (2 or 3 sentences) FROM ANY ORIGINAL LANGUAGE ARTICLE.
The quickest way to take us down is a copyright violation.
At this point I have asked several times. Now - if someone posts more than 2 or 3 sentences from an original language article I will have to assume it is deliberate. Those persons will lose their posting privileges without further warning.
Government announcements are ok to post because governments can not claim copyright. Mangled translations are ok because we have substantially changed the content. For this disease, research papers are ok because the scientific journal community has declared open access on all papers.
Western countries are being very tight lipped. This is France and there are claims that the US is also keeping quiet on cases.
Loire: suspected new case of coronavirus
We also contacted the management of the CHU du Saint-Etienne, which was to communicate on the subject at the end of the day, before changing its mind on the orders of the ARS, which reports to the Ministry of Health. Contacted also, this ministry, which had already taken note of the article of Progress, regrets that such information could have leaked in the health services. " No communication will be made until there is a confirmed case " informs the ministry.

THERE was panic among shoppers in Cowley yesterday evening as paramedics dressed in protective suits and facemasks were spotted outside a supermarket.....A spokesperson for PHE said: "We are not providing a rolling commentary on cases or tests, these numbers are published daily by Department of Health and Social Care at around 2pm."...Halfords employee Connor McDermott who was working at the store yesterday as medics turned up at about 4.30pm, said he overheard customers who said that a person had died on the premises of Sainsbury's.....
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/wuhan-novel-coronavirus-information-for-the-publicThe Department of Health and Social Care will be publishing updated data on this page on a daily basis at 2pm until further notice.
Someone sent a question to our email account. They did not give me permission to reveal their name:
Is it possible to know if China's ability or capacity to respond has diminished?
This is a good question. Specifically, Wuhan is under extreme quarantine. As of today they are not allowed to leave their homes or drive their cars. I would expect that this will drop their daily report numbers.
I don’t think there is a way to really know unless China were to come out and state it.

Tight lipped here too! https://www.gov.uk/guidance/wuhan-no...for-the-public
The UK Government attitude of not even closing down schools, they already reopened the rest home that was visited by the Doctor with confirmed Coronavirus, (which houses perhaps the most vulnerable group of people), is so completely at odds with the unprecedented lengths China is going to in order to stop the spread that it just does not seem to add up! The NHS is often overwhelmed by ordinary waves of "ordinary" flu that it can't be that they feel they can cope with the spread because of their technological superiority! I just don't understand how they can be so fatalistic - unless they think that the social damage is more dangerous than the physical damage of an epidemic!???
Does anyone have a logical explanation?
