Area Doctors Busy With Flu Cases

JACKSON, Miss. -- Local doctors said Friday that they are seeing a spike in flu cases.
The Mississippi State Department of Health said late last month that the flu is widespread throughout the state.
Dr. Hursie Davis-Sullivan said she has treated more adults than usual for the flu. She said this time of the year, flu cases usually start to decrease. But that has not been the case this year.
