    Christopher Alan Hayes

    Christopher Alan Hayes 54, of Lemon Grove, CA, died Wednesday, November 25, 2009 after a courageous five week battle with the Swine Flu. He is preceded in death by his son, Daniel and survived by his children, Nicole and Justin Hayes and their mother, Tracey Blew. He is also survived by his parents, John and Sarah (Ford) Hayes of Tucson, AZ; brothers, John Richard (Millicent) Hayes of Patterson, CA, Paul, and Thomas (Suzanne) Hayes and sister, Catherine (Brian) all of Tucson, AZ, in addition, Chris had nine nieces and nephews, one great-nephew and many friends and family members and his faithful dog Milo who will all miss him greatly. Chris was born in Vogelweh Hospital Germany in 1955 and was raised in Tucson and served in the United States Air Force for two years and honorably discharged as an Airman 1st Class. After his discharge he worked in Florence, AZ as a prison correction officer before moving his family to Lemon Grove in 1981. Chris loved his children, friends, and camping on the beach, riding his Harley with the wind in his face and frequent visits to Tucson and Sierra Vista to see his many lifelong friends and family. He was looking forward to his impending retirement from civil service. Chris was well loved and will be missed by many. Services in San Diego will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. A private Service for family and friends in Tucson, AZ, 4 N. Swan Rd. will be held at the residence of his long time friends, the Mendenhall's at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 12, 2009, 4255 N.Craycroft, Tucson.
