  • Victim of AH1N1 dies, 4 deaths in Sonora

    A 51-year-old woman of age turned into the fourth victim of the influenza AH1N1 who registers in Sonora, authorities of the sector brought this Monday health in the entity.

    In accordance with a report of the Secretary of Health of the Government of the State, the woman died in the General Hospital of the State, and it had not applied to itself the vaccine what complicated his state of health because from the beginning of 2012 it predominates over this seasonal virus. Even if the identity of the victim was not revealed, it is a question of a resident woman of Hermosillo who was enduring renal chronic insufficiency, cardiovascular illness, obesity and an evolution of diabetes of last 12 years, as it was informed. To the date there are had documented 168 persons' cases that have picked up the virus, of which, four have died, being that of this woman hermosillense the most recent decease with what the number of deaths rises up to four for this fatal illness. At present in Mexico they circulate three seasonal viruses of influenza: AH1N1, AH3N2 and influenza B and the vaccine against influenza protects against these three seasonal viruses.
