    Outbreak of H5N1 bird flu in Telenesti. ANSA recommendations for bird owners

    The special virology department of the Italian Zooprophylactic and Experimental Institute (international reference laboratory of OIE and EU), through laboratory tests confirmed the presence of Avian Influenza virus subtype H5N1, in samples collected from domestic birds, from Hirișeni village, Telenesti district, informs National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA).

    ANSA announces that as soon as the Territorial Subdivision for Food Safety Călărași (with coverage and Telenesti district) was notified about the result of laboratory tests, it started the actions established to combat and eradicate the outbreak...
