I have no idea what Tremens inflammatory disease is.

Three crises besieging the poultry industry
    Tuesday, June 28, 2016 08:23

Poultry sector is facing severe crises since the beginning chapters since the emergence of the bird flu virus in 2006 caused a drop in the industry despite the achieved before that productivity mutations, where two production exceeded 0.2 million birds a day. The government faced a projected demand for poultry through import duty-free for 6 months .. The government also began to import vaccines needed to cope with the flu, which is active with the onset of the winter season, but it did not reach the degree of efficiency to eliminate the virus completely, which caused production cuts and adding to the suffering of the industry rising feed prices and access to astronomical numbers to rise over three years from 1600 to 3200 pounds per ton.

This year, a new epidemic appeared tremens, a syndrome, a disease Veterinary Services do not have vaccines for Vaccines own to face it, what led to the deaths of large numbers of poultry farms. Dr. Abdulaziz Al Sayed, head of the massacres and poultry Cairo Chamber of Commerce Division, that the current crisis is the most powerful crises experienced by the sector since the avian flu crisis in virus emerges in 2006, pointing out that the fundamental problem facing the sector is not the emergence of the virus and to reverse and return production to normal visits but other lies in the working methods in the sector, whether producers or the Ministry of Agriculture or government decisions, which resulted in many errors that made this sector groaning.

He said that there are monopolies in the sector by leading producers and this was acceptable in light of the stability of the situation and by the emergence of these challenges faced by the sector during the recent period. He explained that the rise in feed prices, especially corn, which is fully imported from abroad raise the cost price significantly. He referred to the Ministry of Agriculture failed to work serums strong and vaccines that can cope with bird flu even though the settlers of the virus in Egypt for more than 9 years, they resorted to import vaccines and vaccines from abroad, which it increased both the emergence of inflammation tremens is a new virus does not have the body serum is able to confront what led to the deaths of large numbers of more than 40% of production. He pointed to another problem facing the sector, a failure of the government in promoting the sector through the creation of appropriate industry environment, including paving the way for the entry of new sector investors, for example, the Ministry of Agriculture did not tend to pay attention to the research and studies in the field of animal production through the development of new types of chicks and put required to produce the types of studies new feed through the development of system and mechanism edges farmer productivity and poultry producers and the government, and last you select tracts for the production of corn in large quantities on condition that the government is committed to productivity and agencies to buy from the farmer to stimulate the production and agriculture. He stressed that this problem will affect production in the long term if it continues, especially as the financial conditions of the state no longer permit the import of large quantities of feed under acute shortage of currency. He added that the rise in the dollar led to higher prices of vaccines by 40% resulting in the reduction of import, which had repercussions on the pandemic virus on farms. He criticized the ?Mr.? government's concern with senior producers from the owners of companies and ignoring small farmers, even though they make up more than 75% of workers in the sector, noting that out of more than 40% of small-scale producers, and rejected the Authority to import new vaccines to counter the virus led to the production and the deaths of deterioration large numbers of poultry. He said ?Mr.? feed the most important link in the production system, Falctekut one deals with 17 tons of feed annually and difficult to import the same quantities in the face of rising prices abroad, in addition to the price changes of the dollar. The ?Mr.? importance of developing a system to produce and put up poultry markets, especially after the bird flu virus emerges and other viruses that have emerged recently and is in the implementation of the transfer of the shops and slaughterhouses outside residential block in what is known compound massacres, featuring most of those in charge of the production process, but that the decision collide when implementation of administrative decisions from the governor at the request of the allocation of land for the establishment of the compound it, sometimes that the land is not subject to administrative space for the province of Cairo and at other times the presence of obstacles in implementation.

Is Something New Killing Poultry In Egypt?

    #11,504

Since it first arrived in the Middle East just over a decade ago, avian H5N1 has devastated Egypt's poultry sector, and has produced hundreds of human infections and more than 115 deaths.
The chronic use of older, often ineffectual vaccines (see 2012'sA Paltry Poultry Vaccine) helped to spread H5N1, and likely contributed to the Emergence Of A Novel Cluster of H5N1 Clade 2.2.1.2 in 2014.
In addition to H5N1, LPAI H9N2 is also endemic in Egypt's poultry, and while Egypt hasn't reported it to the OIE - earlier this month in PLoS One: Serological Evidence Of Human Infection with Avian H7 in Egyptian Poultry Growers - we saw circumstantial evidence of avian H7 in Egypt's poultry.
Testing, surveillance, and reporting out of Egypt has been seriously lacking in recent years, and so it is very difficult to know exactly what the situation is there.
But earlier this month, in HPAI H5 Worries From Egypt's Poultry Sectorwe saw reports of greatly increased poultry deaths, and concerns that HPAI H5N8 might have arrived in Egypt as well.
After launching an investigation, on June 9th Egypt's Ministry of Agriculture announced Initial Tests were Negative For H5N8,but the cause of the excess mortality remained unknown.
Reports of unusual poultry losses have continued, and in the past few days Egyptian media have begun reporting on a new syndrome - الالتهاب الارتعاشى - which translates to Inflammationtremens, that is reportedlyspreading rapidly.
The Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture's website - which is only rarely updated - has been unreachable for me the past few days, so I've not found any official statement on this syndrome.
We do have one of the many syntax-challenged Arabic media reports on this crisis posted this morning by Sharon Sanders of Flutrackers calledThree crises besieging the poultry industry.

While it briefly describes the new `epidemic' it spends most of its time quoting an industry representative's criticisms of the MOA for a long list of shortcomings, including failing to provide effective vaccines.

    A few excerpts follow:
(EXCERPTS) The poultry sector faces severe crises since the beginning chapters since the emergence of the bird flu virus in 2006 caused the retreat despite industry achieved before it jumps the productivity, where production exceeds $ 2 million birds a day.

This year a new epidemic is severe tremens a disease do not have veterinary services special vaccines vaccines to meet it, leading to massive deaths of poultry farms.

Dr. Abdulaziz Al Sayed, head of the massacres and poultry Cairo Chamber of Commerce Division, that the current crisis is the most powerful crises experienced by the sector since the avian flu crisis in virus emerges in 2006, pointing out that the fundamental problem facing the sector is not the emergence of the virus and to reverse and return production to normal visits but other lies in the working methods in the sector, whether producers or the Ministry of Agriculture or government decisions, which resulted in many errors that made this sector groaning

Given the vague nature of these reports, and the lack of comment by the MOA, it is impossible to know exactly what is going on with Egypt's poultry sector, beyond the fact they are dealing with a crisis.

Given Egypt's history of avian flu expansion and evolution, hopefully we'll get some clarification on all of this sooner rather than later.

", That the price of fodder has become exaggerated, since exceeded its prices for 5000 price per ton, and the reason that there is no control over the producers of feed. In spite of the Ministry of Agriculture statistics about the presence of about 29 thousand and 300 farm capable of producing one billion and 300 million chickens, but these farms operate at half the efficiency, in terms of actual production up to 615 million, which means that half of those farms are not working, and the reason for this is to get out of some of these farms of the system for fear of epidemic diseases and the high cost of production, as well as special licensing problems. He Eldahraoy, that farm owners directing daily distress since the spread of the disease, and there is no move by the officials, saying that there was a negative role exercised toward saving the plantation owners of those losses incurred by them every day. the spread of viruses appeared farms of several months, and among those circulating among poultry in the farms "Gumboro" disease like AIDS , which affects the human virus, a severe viral disease, and the disease affects birds is fortified by certain percentages, and can infect birds of all ages, is one of the most important poultry disease and the most prevalent, particularly in Weather, where his appearance is noted in the summer at rates higher than it is in the winter months , and times.
