أوضح الدكتور عبد الرحمن شاهين - المتحدث الرسمي باسم وزارة الصحة - أن الاحتجاج الذى قامت به بعض الممرضات العاملات بمستشفى مستشفى أشمون العام بمحافظة المنوفية قد انتهى، موضحاً أن الممرضات توجهن إلى عملهن دون تأثر الخدمة المقدمة للمرضى بهذا الأمر. وذكر الدكتور هشام عطا يوسف مدير مديرية الشئون الصحية بالمنوفية أن سبب احتجاج الممرضات هو إلغاء القرار رقم 287 لسنة 1997 والخاص بصرف حوافز 60% لهيئة التمريض، مشيراً إلى أنه قد تم توضيح الأمر للممرضات بناء على خطاب السيد مساعد وزير الصحة للشئون المالية والإدارية، وأن القرار رقم 292 لسنة 2010 قد صدر لصرف حوافزهن.
