A few days ago, the Yunnan Consumers Association issued an initiative to consumers and catering operators to "advocate catering economy and refuse extravagance and waste", calling on consumers and catering operators to establish a sense of frugality, cherish and care for food, and firmly establish the pride of economy. The idea of wasteful shame, maintain awe of the food that human beings rely on, cherish every grain, and consciously overcome the bad habits of catering consumption such as ostentation and extravagance. The proposal puts forward that in terms of consumption habits, we should eat scientifically and rationally, and abandon overeating. Advocate living within your means, moderate consumption, opposing bad habits such as extravagance and waste, eating and drinking; actively reject game, adhere to the healthy diet concept of diverse food, balanced nutrition, and moderate diet; consciously develop a good habit of scientifically ordering meals on demand, and eat buffet There is a degree, civilized and economical meals, take the initiative to pack the remaining meals, take the CD action as a fashion, and strive to be a practitioner of green and economical consumption.
The Provincial Consumers Association advocates that the majority of catering operators should actively fulfill their social responsibilities and be the propagandists and guides of economical catering. Through vivid and eye-catching methods, post "Who knows that Chinese food on a plate is hard work", "Treasure the fruits of labor and reject face consumption", "Civilized dining, eliminate waste", "Green catering, CD-ROM action" and other propaganda slogans are posted on the business premises, and place "appropriate amount" Ordering and packing the leftovers" reminder signs, guiding consumers to establish the catering concept of "saving is glorious, waste is shameful", and strives to create a good atmosphere of civilized and economical dining.
Catering operators should also take the initiative to publish information about main and auxiliary ingredients, tastes, portions, etc., and establish an order reminder system to provide convenience for consumers to order meals on demand and order by quantity. Do not set a minimum consumption threshold, promptly remind consumers to order reasonable meals based on the principles of economy and appropriate amount, try to "eat as much as possible", and advocate "packing and taking away" surplus meals. Actively promote the "separate meal system, public chopstick system, and double chopstick system." Buffet service companies should remind consumers to take food according to the amount, small amounts and multiple times to avoid waste. At the same time, the concept of conservation should be implemented throughout the entire process of food material procurement, catering processing, and business services, and strive to be the leader of "saving catering", ensure fresh and nutritious food materials, increase raw material yield, and minimize raw material waste. Strengthen and improve the quantitative standards for cooking, improve the quality of catering supplies, and provide consumers with more green, healthy, nutritious and delicious meals.
