Influenza activity in Manitoba remains low.
Summary:
? The influenza-like-illness rate was 0.4% with 18% of sentinel physician sites reporting.
? The number of respiratory tests performed by CPL decreased compared to last week (from 78 to 64), and the percent positive for influenza remained the same (15%).
? There were no new cases of influenza A and 5 new cases of influenza B reported.
? There were five hospitalizations reported since last week associated with a lab-confirmed report of influenza.
? There were no lab-confirmed outbreaks of influenza reported in a long term care facility this week.

? 0 new cases of influenza A reported;
? 5 new cases of influenza B reported.
Since the beginning of the season, there have been:
? 65 cases of influenza A reported;
? 204 cases of influenza B reported.

Since the last flu report, there have been:

? 0 new ICU admissions;
? 0 new deaths.
Since the beginning of the season, there have been:
? 64 hospitalizations, of which
? 9 resulted in an ICU admission; and
