- 26,800 ducks raised in the infected farm were culled and 276,000 eggs kept in the farm were destroyed and buried.
- Cleansing and disinfection were implemented on the infected farm and the surrounding area.
- 20 poultry raising farms in the surrounding area within 10 km radius from the infected farm were put under intensified surveillance until 27 December with no abnormality observed. After that, a normal surveillance was put in place. There have been no more positive cases until now.
- Laboratory tests (antigen, antibody) were conducted on 52 poultry farms which were found to have an epidemiological link with the infected farm. All results were negative to low pathogenic avian influenza.
