      • Minamiise-cho, Watarai-gun, Mie:
        • On 26 February 2011, poultry was tested positive for influenza A with rapid test at a farm in Minamiise-cho.
        • Virus was identified as H5 with RT-PCR on 26 February and as H5N1 on 2 March.
        • Mandatory movement restriction has been enforced within 10 km around the affected farm since 26 February 2011.
        • All of the poultry at the farm was destroyed by 3 March.
      • Mutsukura-cho, Gojyo city, Nara:
        • On 28 February 2011, poultry was tested positive for influenza A with rapid test at a farm in Mutsukura-cho.
        • Virus was identified as H5 with RT-PCR on 28 February and as H5N1 on 4 March.
        • Mandatory movement restriction has been enforced within 10 km around the affected farm since 28 February 2011.
        • All of the poultry at the farm was destroyed by 4 March.
      • Kadokawa-cho, Higashiusuki-gun, Miyazaki:
        • On 5 March 2011, poultry was tested positive for influenza A with rapid test at a farm in Kadokawa-cho.
        • Virus was identified as H5 with RT-PCR on 5 March and as H5N1 on 9 March.
        • Mandatory movement restriction has been enforced within 10 km around the affected farm since 5 March 2011.
        • All of the poultry at the farm was destroyed by 6 March.
