In Jalisco there are already eight cases of people who have been infected with COVID-19 and dengue at the same time. This Wednesday they added three more, as reported by the Jalisco Health Secretariat (SSJ).

Of the total, five people started with the two infections on the same date and three acquired the second within the active period of another.

The last three cases correspond to a 59-year-old woman from Zapopan, who had non-serious infections and who was given outpatient management (did not require hospitalization) and was discharged.

The second affected was a 22-year-old woman, a resident of Jocotepec, with a pregnancy of 25 weeks of gestation, and who had non-severe dengue and COVID-19 without any complications, for which outpatient management was given and is out of danger .

The third case is a five-year-old man, a resident of Tonal?, with a positive result for dengue and who did require hospitalization for this disease with warning signs, although he has already been discharged.
