                        • Number of deaths exceeds 700

And again the number of reported corona cases has risen: currently to more than 67,000. The number of deaths has now exceeded 700 (as of March 31, 8pm).

The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) also observed that the number of cases continues to increase. The pandemic will continue for months, predicts RKI boss Lothar Wieler (59).

Containment, protection of particularly vulnerable people and increased capacities remain important. A study found that only 41 percent of Germans thought Covid-19 was dangerous. This worries him that the disease cannot be taken seriously enough.
