Daily reported COVID deaths are now measured across the UK as deaths that occurred within 28 days of the first laboratory-confirmed positive COVID test. Data using the old and new measures can be downloaded here.
We have not received the latest data for cases and tests in England. We will update today's records as soon as they become available.
The deaths page is being re–developed.

THE number of coronvairus cases in the UK rose by 1,441 to 316,367 today - the biggest rise recorded in two months.
Today's increase in cases is likely to be due to ramped up testing and although more infections are being found, hospital admissions for Covid-19 are down.
