    Thanks Giuseppe for posting.

The above message is a mess.

    1) There appears to be 3 new asymptomatic health care workers who tested positive.

    2) Plus a new case who is 70 years old who possible died.

    3) Plus an asymptomatic son of the 70 year old case who tested positive.

    4) And sadly one of the health care workers in Jeddah died:

#211 - Patient, 26, Jeddah, currently receiving treatment in intensive care - possibly health care worker according to media reports - Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Please note: This case was reported by the MoH on March 28. Death note.

It appears the Saudis are not counting test positive, but asymptomatic, cases anymore. The count tally on their website only increased by 1 additional case (the 70 year old) and 2 additional deaths (the 70 year old and the previous health care worker) as a result of the above press release.

Previously the Saudis have counted all positive tests as cases.

We count positive tests as cases.

By deleting the test positives, but asymptomatic, cases from their total tally it makes the novel coronavirus situation look less dramatic.

It appears, Saudi propaganda not withstanding, that there have been 5 health care workers who have tested positive in the last week. One died.

A WHO clarification of the above message would be appreciated.
